2. Purposes of processing personal data
Personal data is processed for the following purposes:
- handling enquiries received through the website and by email;
- responding to questions, requests for quotation and demo requests;
- preparing and managing customer and contractual relationships;
- meeting statutory obligations; and
- establishing, exercising or defending legal claims.

- the controller’s legitimate interest in handling enquiries and business communications;
- performance of a contract or steps taken at the data subject’s request before entering into a contract; or
- the controller’s legal obligations.

- the content of the enquiry and any attachments;
- subsequent communications; and

Please do not include unnecessary sensitive personal data in your enquiry.

Personal data is primarily obtained directly from the data subject in connection with an enquiry and subsequent communications.
6. Recipients and international transfers
Personal data is processed only by Hytola Engineering personnel who need it for their duties.
Email, web hosting and IT service providers may also process data on behalf of Hytola Engineering. Data is not sold or disclosed to third parties for marketing purposes. Data may be disclosed to public authorities when required by law.
If data is transferred outside the European Economic Area, safeguards required by applicable data protection law will be used.
7. Retention periods
Ordinary enquiries are normally retained for no longer than two years from the latest communication.
If an enquiry leads to a customer or contractual relationship, the data is retained for the duration of that relationship and afterwards for as long as required by statutory obligations or the handling of legal claims.

Personal data is protected using appropriate technical and organisational measures. Access is limited to people who need the data for their duties.
9. Rights of the data subject
Under applicable data protection law, the data subject has the right to:

- access their personal data;

- receive their data in a portable format where this right applies.
